Try our opening activity on your own // Reflection: Take 5-10min to reflect the support you wish you had from adults when you were a youth.
CAFECITO
In the Spanish language, Cafecito is an endearing way to refer to a cup of coffee. We invite you to join us for coffee and to reflect on issues that affect our students and the role we as caring adults play in cultivating a diverse and inclusive third space for learning and self-expression in our students’ lives.
Language // In this Cafecito we discuss the importance of language in our students’ lives. We start by writing our own language autobiographies then dive into a conversation about the nuances of language learning in western education and our role in it!
