Complete Academic Requirements 

Use DegreeWorks to confirm you have met all academic requirements. Student instructions for how to use Degree Works are available here. 

Apply for Graduation

The Application for Degree questionnaire is the required form that is used in creating your diploma for graduation. Please take time to carefully complete the questionnaire so that there are no mistakes on your diploma!

Instructions for Graduate Students

1. Login to ESTHER.

2. From the Students tab, click Students - General.

3. Click on Graduation.

4. Click on Application for Degree - Graduate Students.

5. Answer all of the questions on the questionnaire.

• • Semester for degree completion

  • Diploma Name

  • Select the degree(s) for which you would like to apply by highlighting the check box to the left of the degree(s)

6. Click Save Responses.

7. Carefully review your answers to confirm that everything is correct then click the Complete Questionnaire button. Your Application for Degree is not officially submitted until you click the Complete Questionnaire button.

Alumni Resources

Don’t leave Rice Business behind without making sure you know all of the Alumni Resources available to you! Recent graduates receive:

  • Rice Business Partners

• Free admission to all alumni events through December 2024

• Executive Education discounts

You can expect to lose access to your Rice email about 12 months after you graduate. You are able to get a Rice Alumni email and find other ways to stay connected HERE.

Networking

Connect with peers, professors, and industry professionals on professional networking platforms. Collect and save contact information for future reference.

Upon graduating, you will lose access to CampusGroups. For upcoming alumni networking events, please visit the Rice Business Alumni Events page. 

Career Services

The CDO understands that career journeys don’t end at graduation, but are filled with possible promotions and transitions. Post-MBA, alumni have the opportunity to meet with an experienced career advisor who assists with job search strategies and other career-related needs. Appointments can be scheduled via Owl Careers: https://mba-rice.12twenty.com/Login 

Digital Campus

Download all Digital Campus notes, assignments, projects, and any other resources for future personal use. You will lose access to materials once you lose access to your Rice email. This generally happens about 12 months after graduation.
