Focus Areas

The MBA@Rice program allows students to personalize their academic journey by selecting an optional Focus Area. These Focus Areas serve as guided recommendations to help students tailor their elective choices based on specific career interests. Each Focus Area includes a curated list of career-oriented electives that students can choose from to align with their goals. Students are not required to complete all the courses within a Focus Area, nor is selecting one mandatory. The choice to pursue a Focus Area is entirely optional and designed to enhance the overall MBA@Rice experience.
