You can have a look at the "Tools to facilitate" page to discover the available languages. Before facilitating a workshop in a selected language, please check that you have all the required tools.
Be careful: some of the contents may not exist in this language and you will sometimes have to warn (or help) your participants.
For example the cards and platform may be translated in Spanish but the carbon questionnaire is only available in French or English.
You are preparing a workshop and checking to validate the participants' data (in the Data --> Data tab of the questionnaire), and some cells of the data table are in orange?
This is an automatic identification of data which are abnormally far from the national average. That doesn't mean it's fake. You can
Check with the person by contacting them, but this can quickly take a long time.
It may be a unit error, in which case you can make the correction yourself
If the data is not decisive for the carbon footprint, you can easily make a correction to have a more plausible data, closer to the average. To do this, if you do not know the averages, you can use the personas Monsieur and Madame Toutlemonde (for 2tonnes France). You must therefore return to the Preparation tab and add one of these personas, then return to the data tab, and take inspiration from the new row of the table corresponding to the added persona.
It depends on the case:
For housing energy consumption, two cases are possible:
-> The participant indicated that he did not know his consumption. He answered "No" to the question "Do you know the energy consumption of your home?". This generates a calculation that estimates housing consumption based on national average data and housing characteristics. It is therefore normal that there are "0"s in the answers to the consumption questions in kwh.
-> The participant indicated knowing his consumption. He answered "Yes" to the question "Do you know the energy consumption of your home?", but there are "0"s in the answers to the consumption questions in kwh. Unless he lives in a cave, that's an oversight. So change the answer to "No".
For the food supply, several cases are possible:
-> The participant knows his consumption in kg/week: the kg/week must not be zero
-> Instead, the participant wishes to enter their average diets: the number of meals per type of meal per week must not be zero
-> If everything is missing, it's an oversight, it's extremely rare. Our recommendation is to put a number of meals per average type meal (if necessary, use data from an average persona, see previous question)
For other questions, such as the km traveled, the number of purchases... there are generally few omissions. But it is more likely to have "0"s which are not errors, and therefore it is more difficult to detect possible errors. If you detect a suspect "0", we recommend applying the correction method used for orange box corrections (see previous question).
Yes ! Here is the procedure to follow to transfer from a workshop A to a workshop B:
Copy the identifier of workshop B
Go to the "Management" page of workshop A
Search for the participant in the list available in step "2 - Check participant data"
Click on the icon representing 2 horizontal arrows to the left of the participant's first name
In the "Exchange a participant" window that opens, enter the identifier of workshop B copied in step 1 then "Validate"
Go to the "Management" page of workshop B and check that the participant is indeed present
Return to the "Management" page of workshop A and delete the participant from the workshop using the "Trash" icon to the left of the participant's first name. The participant is simply dissociated from workshop A but his carbon footprint remains intact in his participant account
Here is the source of the problem:
A participant sent data to the facilitator between the moment you validated and the moment you launched the simulation without having refreshed the page in the meantime. Consequently, the workshop was launched with data in the "Data to be validated" status, which blocks the passage of turns.
Here is the procedure to follow (if we are in turn 1):
Go to the “Management” tab
Observe that a participant is indeed in “Data to be validated” status
Click on reset
Validate data (as in normal preparation)
Restart the simulation
Reroll turn 1
If remote, refresh to retrieve actions / If face-to-face, re-enter all actions
End the round
