Team Growth Mindset

Our lab aims to explore the emergence of a team growth mindset that can enhance team performance and learning. Please see our example work:

Exploring the emergence of a team growth mindset in winning design teams

A pilot study: In this study, we explored the emergence of team growth mindsets as an influence on performance by analyzing focus group interview transcripts of four winning student design teams. Reflecting on our findings, we introduced and defined the team growth mindset as: the belief shared by team members that they can develop each other’s capacity to learn from failures, challenges, and successes.
