DTEC Department intro:

The new Junior & Middle School programmes focus on Computional Thinking (CT) and Designing & Developing Digital Outcomes (DDDO). 

We have a focus on "Design Thinking", 2D & 3D design publishing to AR / VR (Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality). 

Our future focus are on: teaching CT coding Games Design (Scratch/Unity), Drones, Minecraft Edu & VR and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The Senior DTEC Programme offers NCEA Level 1-3 to multi-level classes, with the contexts of VR app development with 3D modelling. Students can code drones with Python.

In 2022, 11DTEC will focus on coding in Python and using creative Digital Media with AdobeCC. The external will focus on Human Computer Interface (HCI).
