We're going to create a piece in the style of Edgard Varèse.

Preparation:

• Consider the sounds of your environment, sounds created by your actions or otherwise

• Choose 5 sounds that you find interesting

Execution:

• Record and upload each separately in your voice memos (or whatever you have available) and label them A, B, C, D, E

Note to director:

• Organize your composition into sections, defined by each sound group. Apply a compositional procedure or work with the material intuitively.
