Percussion Ensemble in COVID-19
The scope of this document is to provide a background and listening guide for composers involved in the early days of percussion ensemble music and to draw from their philosophies, methods, and characteristics to prompt short, creative activities "in the style of..."
This serves as a resource for percussion ensemble directors and potentially other chamber ensemble directors for addressing online music instruction in quarantine. This may be especially helpful for those who have a number of non-music majors, music minors, those who elect to take percussion ensemble, etc.
