4-1 Exhibitions in Love River

Love River Bay connects The Pier-2 Art Center, Great Harbor Bridge, Kaohsiung port warehouse no.2 and other Harborside attractions with the "Kaohsiung Pop Music Center". There are as many as 50 works and 125 sets of programs, including elements such as fantasy, surprise, and reflection of the harbor.

The first place to introduce is the Great Harbor Bridge. The Great Harbor Bridge is open from 8 am to 10 pm. It is the most beautiful pure white bridge. You can appreciate the beautiful night view of Kaohsiung on the bridge, and you can also overlook the 85 Building in the distance.

There are also "Trumpet Flowers" around the Great Harbor Bridge. Consists of 54 giant trumpet flowers.

The work "Taiwan Dream" made a lively debut at Pier 2's pier. The base of "Taiwan Dream" is from Kaohsiung Port Control Point in the past. It is renovated by artist Li Wenzheng into a two-stored sign house, a collection of more than 70 common signs on the streets of Taiwan. They are the memory of Taiwanese from then till now and it is also the epitome of Taiwan's nighttime.

And the next work “Absorbed by Light” is Amsterdam Light Festival Exhibits. Through this lantern work, it reflects our daily life. People look down and swipe their phones with blue light. Their expressions reflected on their faces. However, a lot of things are two sides of the same coin. We are worried that overuse of phones will alienate people, but we are thankful because we have phones to maintain our daily life during the COVID 19.

Of the exhibitions of Love River Bay, the most eye-catching is the 1,500 drones light show, an amazing exhibition with 12 minutes and 12 graphics to stun the audience.

In the beginning, it made a strong debut with the stereoscopic dynamic "Roar of Tiger Lord", combined with the songs composed by local heavy metal bands in Taiwan. In the beginning, it shocked the audience with the local folk culture. Tiger Lord eliminated evil, fought against epidemic, prayed for blessings for the people in Taiwan.

One of the performances, drones turned into a plane, and then dropped a parachute with a vaccine. The national flag of love was a symbol of helping international friends through the epidemic, and Taiwan's sincere thanks.

Finally, the yellow tiger from the "Yellow Tiger Flag of the Republic of Formosa" appeared in the sky, and then the tiger of the Paper Pinwheel Theater loved by adults and children appeared at the finale. Wish everyone good luck on Chinese New Year and wish everyone a Happy New Year.

The firework and the drone show

Located in front of the Great Harbor Bridge in the Pier-2 Art Center, the lantern show "Fantasia of the Sea Monster" features a full of childlike interaction.

The 8 tentacles of the sea monster are connected to the front of the drum, and the drum surface will glow when struck. This work emphasizes interactivity. As long as you hit the drum surface of the iron one, the magic light will be transmitted up to the head of the sea monster along the tentacles, which is endowed with a playful and childish character.
