Alexa Magnotto, Casting Director Sound Lounge in NYC.

Alexa runs the casting department at one of New York's largest post audio design companies, Sound Lounge, which is located in the Flatiron district. She's been working there since 2017, and was recently promoted to Casting Director after successfully growing the department and maintaining relationships between talent agents and clients both nationally and internationally.

Alexa has worked as an assistant on the theatrical side but got her start in Voice Over as an agent's assistant at Innovative Artists. She started working as a Voiceover casting assistant and was quickly promoted to an associate and now, Casting Director. Right before the shutdown, she single handedly worked on a project needing 4 different characters within 6 different languages. Alexa successfully figured out talent's remote recording capabilities to make sure the client was able to deliver by their deadline (right as everything was shutting down). Since the pandemic, she has moved everything online and created the Virtual Booth, which has received great reviews from VO talent as well as her clients. Alexa has worked on large campaigns including Advil, Chobani, and Budwiser to name a few.
