EARTH DAY CLEAN-UP 2018

Great job cleaning our neighborhood on April 7! The sun did come out, as we worked on sites from Green Hill Park to Lincoln Street.

A huge thank you to Linda Fay Griffin House! We couldn't do all we do without you! Patrick Duggan, you rock!

The Harlow Safe Streets crew was at St. Bernard's Church with Robin, Kristin, Edith and Guy and family and friends, and Green Hill Park Coalition's Becky and Andrew.

And, thanks to the City of Worcester, and the one-and-only Regional Environmental Council.

Congratulations to Winnie Octave, our co-founder and co-chair, who has received REC's 2018 Neighborhood Organizer Award, She earned it for organizing six years worth of Earth Day Clean-ups in our neighborhood.

PARK SPIRIT SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Fundraising efforts are underway for the Green Hill Neighborhood Association to bring a Park Spirit Summer Concert series to Green Hill Park. Summer-evening concerts are free, and present a variety of music for people to enjoy. We believe it will have a positive impact on our community, and any financial support will be appreciated. The Park Spirit Summer Concert Series is a 501(c)3 charitable, non-profit organization under Park Spirit Worcester Inc.

6TH ANNUAL COMMUNITY PICNIC

The Green Hill Neighborhood Association will host its 2018 community picnic on Saturday, August 4 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Grant Square Park. (Rain date: Sunday, August 5.)

Free food, music, clown, raffle, children’s activities, local-agency tables, and city and state elected officials make for a fun day of meeting new neighbors, building community, and enjoying a beautiful park.

HALLOWEEN BLOCK PARTY

The Green Hill Neighborhood Association plans to partner with our City of Worcester Crime Watch police officer to bring a Halloween Block Party to our neighborhood. We will be seeking business sponsors, so our community children can enjoy a safe and fun Halloween. Dates and times, to be announced.
