JNL: I Want To Become Better At Math So That

I want to become more skilled in math because math is the answer to everything that exists in this universe and perhaps beyond. Math by itself is a very interesting subject and learning more is always fun. Understanding why the things around us are the way they are is quite fascinating. All of it is wonderful to know, from why 1+1=2 to the reason why the square root of a negative number is imaginary. Many people underestimate the necessity of math, but those people also don't ask questions about life. I also love math because math has been able to explain so much of life to me and my mind now thinks more logically thanks to it. I am able to ask more questions, but also answer more questions and I owe it all to math.

Apart from learning, it is also to great to be skilled in math because a lot of the tasks and jobs nowadays all use math, and having a better understanding will only make life easier. Math is also such a vast and complex subject that it has existed before we even found out about it. If you look all around nature, there is an interesting pattern going on, and that pattern is the Fibonacci Sequence. From the leaves of a tree to the form of an acorn, this pattern can be seen, and there is no explanation why but maybe if I become more skilled in math I will be able to understand why that is so.

I want to get better at math because I want to pass high school and get into college. I also want to get an A in math or at least a B. If I don’t get better at math I can’t achieve those small goals. I also don’t really know what I am going to do as an adult yet so I want to be prepared. I don’t think I will go into a profession that requires a lot of high level math just because I’m not good at it, but I want to keep getting better so that if I find an interesting career that is math heavy I don’t have to catch up to everyone else going into that career. Like if I wanted to be a programmer. If I keep getting better at math then I wont have as far to reach my goal as everyone else who already knows and is prepared to be a programmer.

Another reason I want to be better at math is because I can help my friends with their math. I have some friends who really struggle with math and if I become better I can help them become better at math. Or if I have children once I’m an adult it would be easier to help them understand math if I understand it well now. If I don’t understand it well now I won’t have any base knowledge or familiarity with what they are doing in higher than base level math.

Technology and math play a large part in almost every occupation as well as well as day to day life. Math used to be not as essential in day to day life but we use it for all kinds of things from simple kitchen ratios to biotechnology.

As seen in many previous journals, math is used in many different aspects of our lives. We use math a lot especially when calculating budgets or costs. We use math to pay someone a certain amount. Being good at math is very valuable because you are able to quickly calculate all kinds of things.

Math can also be helpful in just about every occupation from psychology to bioengineering to art. Building a strong foundation for future math learning can be very helpful in college and later in life. Math may be used to calculate salaries or angles or more complex scientific equations. I would like to become a horticulturist and work in the Redwood Forest in California. I may need math to use maps or study statistics of a natural disaster.

Math is essential in day to day life. We use math almost every day and being able to quickly do calculations is invaluable.

I want to become better at math because i want to go to college. I want to be able to use math once i get past school as part of a job that i eventually get. I also like using computers and coding. Also i want to be able to just have any job that is related to more like having to not solving equations like a scientist but like a computer scientist that figure out what the code means. I also want to do it because my dad does it. And i have taken classes to code robots witch was fun.

I do still though enjoy learning the normal math to solve equations because i still would need those skills to do everyday things. You need to know how to be able to use math to pay bills or taxes or when you need to find the distance of a trip. I also want to get better at the type of math that we already learn in class because i want to be able to know how to still do normal equations. Another reason i because it would look good on a college resume if i have taken more math classes then required and that is what i want in the end so i can eventually get the degree i want and the job i want wither it is in a math field or not.
