Love and Marriage

Do you know What is the impact of Love And Marriage? What is the best feeling in the world?

Love is! It is the unmatched feeling of a bunch of emotions and attitudes indentified by attraction, endearment, and belief. Love is when what you fancy is not important. But what is prime, is another person’s desire. Every human irrespective of their culture, religion,or mindset experiences the complex feeling of love. It is complex, hard to explain yet easy to feel. A human can’t really flourish in the absence of loving relationships as it leaves an undeniable impact on a person both physically and mentally. The drive behind a person’s constant will to find romantic love is either Biological or cultural. The origin of biological love is called the ‘brain’. A brain immersed in love is filled with constant commotion which leads to production of emotions. However, the culture transfigures passionate love into romantic love as the constant promotion of romantic love in various cultures i.e. Western culture behaves as a driving force. Talking about marriage, it is mere culture and tradition which involves forming an alliance usually between the families of a man and a woman. Love on one side wills to provide everything and asks for nothing. Marriage on the other side requires satisfaction of personal needs and sexual desires. It is a companionship.

What are the Four Loves?

Love has four types. The first one is the Empathy bond. This form of love develops due to the warmth of closeness. The second form of love is the Friend bond which involves a long lasting feeling between friends who have similar interests and values. The third form in the romantic bond, a bond which distinguishes between wanting a woman and wanting that one woman. It can be as warm as fire and as cold as water, it can turn a man evil. The final form is the God love, the unconditional form of love. This love perhaps is the greatest form of love as it continues to love irrespective of changing situations.

Is love a booby trap?

Often a man gets tired of the negatives that come along the positives as he falls in romantic love. To some, all they want is the joy and happiness and a pinch of depression and conflict leads them to label love as a ‘Booby trap’. To further explain what a booby trap is, it is a device that apparently looks harmless but explodes on contact. Labeling love as one of those devices explains how a few conflicts can lead a man to thinking of it as a trap. This however is not true as relationships are never smooth; there are bumps of mistrust, fights and arguments. Humans are therefore bond to express both negative and positive feelings. Negativity may impend to miscommunication and stress.

Love or Marriage?

When a person is in love, they may or may not marry. Love is the purest emotion and marriage however is a ceremony, an event which officially declares the lovers as a couple. Often in most cultures and religions, marriage is considered as a tool to further strengthen the relationship a couple has. Humans need quite a long period of time near their parents, they need to have interaction and it is what makes them human. A baby once born interacts mostly with the family it lives with. Hence, marriage helps humans form a family where they can fulfill all their parental duties. It helps the individuals grow while being surrounded with a family which cares, loves and supports them all circumstances. Such motivation helps the individual evolve into a more confident being. Marriage is a second name to commitment it requires efforts from both parties, love on the other hand asks for nothing and prioritizes the other over oneself. Moreover, several religions over the world supports the view point of it taking place only between and man a woman. Many religions support one man marrying several women and similarly with the passage of time same sex marriages have also been legalized in a lot of states.

Why do people marry?

The reasons why humans marry are many. Not every couple marries to nourish the love that they already have. People marry for religious, spiritual, financial, emotional and social reasons. To them, marriage is either a trend or a way to earn respect. Many modern mindsets have accepted a couple living together for a life time without getting married. Similarly, many mindsets have accepted marrying without a feeling of love towards the partner they choose. They have might have any of the above stated reasons to marry along with the urge to fulfill the sexual desires a human has.

Many studies have showed that married couple’s posses a better physical and mental health compared to those who are not married legally. When we talk about marriage, it is between two families. Hence, any resulting conflict may be solved with the help of family members from both sides. The involvement and emotional support of one’s family can help him/her resolve the matter immediately. In a live-in relationship, the couple would lack outside involvement and hence might result in making decisions they might regret later as the decision is made by the brain going through an instable phase of life. Marriage also proves to be beneficial for couples who want kids. Being not married, the ultimate guardian of the child is his mother alone. Marriage obliges the father to support the kid both emotionally and financially. A lot of researches say that the only reason why couples might not want to marry is because they lack the ability to commit fully. This however is not true in all cases.

To conclude, religion has uplifted the idea of love to something divine. Love itself is the reason to live. Loving a being and then forming a family with them via marriage is what flourishes an individual’s feeling of love. Often, feminism has labeled marriage as a tool to enslave and oppress women. This however depends upon the surrounding and the public view point, it is an individual perspective and not every marriage has to be oppressive. Similarly, not every lover is bound to marry. A human provided with a free will can decide to choose the path he wants to walk on.
