ファリオスに入ったきっかけ : パリ滞在一年半だけですが、どうしてもテニスをしたくて、どのクラブに参加しようか迷ってたところ、妻がジモモパリ掲示板で Farios の投稿を見つけた。クラブ名「Farios」もかっこいいと思い、主催者にメールを書いた。一回目のセッションからとても楽しくて、ファリオスの皆さんがとても面白くて良い人ばかりで「毎週参加したい」と思った。

思い出 : 参加し初め出してからまだ二ヶ月も立っていないけど、すでに思い出が多い。初日の次の日に行われた新年会にまで誘われて早速参加した。2017年度の交流戦、個人戦、団体戦はとても楽しかった。個人戦の日は暖かくて晴れてて、一緒に来た妻と赤ちゃんはマルメゾンの素敵なクラブハウスでのんびりと午後を過ごしました。レギュラーパートナーとのミックスで長い間無敗を保ててること（その中で一試合タイブレーク１−６から逆転したこととか）は、振り返ると、今でもワクワクします。テニスの後の打ち上げ、ラーメンなども思い出に残ります。でも、やはりいちばん思い出に残るのは楽しいテニス。

How I joined Farios : I knew I was only going to be in Paris for a year and a half, but I really really wanted to (needed to) play Tennis. I wasn't sure which team to join, but my wife found a Farios advert on the Jimomo bulletin board. My first session was so much fun, and the Farios people so friendly and welcoming that I thought "I want to join these Tennis sessions every week!"

Memories of Farios : I've only been in this club for two months and I've had so many great memories already. The day after I joined, I was already invited to Farios' new year's party. I remember well the tournaments we played against the other teams. My wife and baby also came to the Tennis events and we had a nice time on and off the courts with other families. I am still enjoying an unbeaten run with my regular mixed-doubles partner (on one occasion coming back from 1-6 down in the tie break to steal the win). The after-tennis beers and Ramen were also always delicious and fun, but my fondest memories are still the many hours of hitting Tennis balls together.
