今週のニュース ( 2019/4/22)

4月の中頃というのは、ファリオスにとってとてもいい季節です。

日本に一時帰国していたメンバー達が、良いニュースを連れて帰ってきました！

この日、チームで長らく計画していた、「ファリオス内紅白戦」を行いました。各ゲーム30分、デュース有の試合でした。

どの試合も拮抗し、楽しくもあり、良い実戦練習にもなりました。

練習の終わりには、美味しいディナーもついていましたよ♪

もう一つの写真は、その前の週、いつもの金曜日夜の練習での風景です。練習が終わった後も、メンバーが他のメンバーに熱心にアドバイスしています。チームのために時間を割いてくれてありがとう！

Mid-april was nice as the weather for Farios.

Several members were back from a short Japan stay with good news in their luggages.

For the occasion, with a nice original idea from long time member we made a saturday session kohakusen "Inter-Farios"

While it was a lot of fun, it was also very good "field match" training with 1 set, deuce on, 30min match.

Every match had some close games so level was appreciable. A nice dinner on the evening concluded this serious session.

Last week at regular friday night training, our three best members gave us precious advices to sharpen our skills and continue to progress. Thanks to them for their time and their teachings.

Tennis is a never ending learning curve :)

In other news, Last Koryusen was as always a true sharing experience with people from a lot of Paris Japanese teams. Matches were fun and prize deciding giant rock paper scissors was awesome. Looking Forward to 2020 edition.

A few weeks ago, Total black-out at the end of training (around 22h59) on the tennis court, we had to go back to the club house with cellphone light. First time in 10 years for some, first time in 30 years for others.

Total Farios training session last month was : 5

スキー合宿から帰ってきたメンバーと、日本から出張できたメンバーも合流して、今日のファリオスはいつもより少し大所帯です。

最近の練習では、キャプテンのMatthieuがゲーム練習の組み合わせを事前に準備してくれるので、たっぷりと実践練習に臨めています。

時の巡りは早く、あっという間に春のパリが顔を見せていますね。

練習コートのあるマルメゾンはパリの郊外にあるため、気温がパリ市内より少し低いです。温かい春が待ち遠しいですね！

今週のニュース ( 2019/2/17 )

フランスと言えばテニスだけでなく、スキーシーズンも魅力のひとつですね！

ということで、チームファリオスはテニスだけでは飽き足らず、「雪山合宿」にも行ってきました。

フランスとスイスの国境をまたいで10か所以上のスキー場を行き来することは、日本では味わえない壮大な経験です。アルプスの山々も連日の日差しに光り輝いていました（ということはもちろん、雪はだんだん解けていきました。）

テニスで普段使っていない左半身ばかりが筋肉痛になったファリオスメンバーですが、美味しいチーズとお肉をもりもり食べ、普段使わない筋肉も鍛え、きっとよりテニスが上手くなることと思います。

冬（2018/2019）

Winter 2018-2019 was a busy one for Farios.

Mid-december trainings, an early new year tennis and a Taikosen between the two weeks of the Australian Open, with a good win by the way

Lots of old balls, lots of sorting. New Balls felt wet after a few hours so in addition of our magic air tube, we also warm them a bit near the chimney of the club house and it's the truth.

A good remembrance of good volley trainings with new members and lot of work of how to improve shots, consistency, serve move and positioning.
