At our weekly meetings, we discuss current events regarding women's rights and gender equity, as well as plan events and ways to engage with the campus community on these issues. All of our members work to create a supportive, intersectional feminist community where we can talk freely about these issues and lift each other up!

Michigan Refugee Assistance Program

Student Organization

With conflict simmering around the globe, the immense civilian cost often goes unnoticed and unheard. Today, more than 23 million people around the globe are refugees. At Michigan Refugee Assistance Program, we know we can't fix this problem in its entirety. However, we can help recently resettled refugees in our own communities and be relentless advocates for compassionate policies towards refugees on a local, national, and international level.

Poverty Solutions

Poverty Solutions is a University of Michigan initiative that aims to prevent and alleviate poverty through action-based research that informs policymakers, community organizations, government entities, and practitioners about what works in confronting poverty. Students bring new insight, knowledge and opinions to our work, enhance our interdisciplinary and collaborative approach, lend support and capacity to our projects and activities, and help to promote campus-wide engagement.
