Spring 2024
Dear East Girls Lacrosse candidate,
The East Girls Lacrosse season is rapidly approaching, and we are very excited about our upcoming season. Enjoy your Winter sports and school, and let’s get going with some lacrosse and some warm weather.
Physical exams are required for all lacrosse candidates. Candidates should submit all forms to the athletic office via planeths. Any winter sport participants will need a recertification by parent and player. The forms are open for submittal Wednesday, February 1st and are due by Monday, February 27th.
Reminder: No athlete may begin without a physical card signed/dated after June 1st, 2023.
Tryouts will begin Thursday, March 7th, Friday, March 8th, Monday, March 11th, Tuesday, March 12th, and Wednesday, March 13th from 2:40-4:30 approximately. As many tryouts that a player attends will help us in making a final decision.
Please be picked up promptly. Be sure to bring all clothing you plan to change into, cleats, goggles, mouthpiece, and your water with you. DO NOT BRING A BALL. The team room will be unlocked each morning where you can store your bags. We will meet outside the locker room after the 2nd bell each day during tryouts. In the event that any of these dates are affected, please check the tab – lacrosse – on my website: https://sites.google.com/student.boyertownasd.org/hagmann/home
Note: After the conclusion of the tryout sessions, practice will be held for those players who make a squad. Practice will be held immediately after school daily until approx. 4:30pm unless notified otherwise. Players should always have sneakers (and all equipment) with them in case we need to practice on the tennis courts due to weather.
Sincerely,
John R. Hagmann jhagmann@boyertownasd.org OR hagmann@comcast.net
(Lacrosse will use girls’ gym side team room. Report to auditorium in morning as normal, then report to bag storage space on way to HR.)
