Unit Project: Steps 2, 3, and the Rubric

Step 2: Research

Now that you have identified the country or movement that you wish to look into further, you need to dive deep into your chosen area. You’ll need somewhere to take notes. I HIGHLY recommend that you take notes on the document linked here. It describes in more detail what you’ll be expected to create for this project.

Two helpful tips:

  • Lingro (the website that makes words clickable to get a definition)
  • Control + F (find a word anywhere it appears on a webpage)

Aim to have step two - your research - done by the middle of Block (October 22nd or 23rd).

Step 3: Creation Mode

You've chosen a country or movement (step 1). You've gathered your knowledge (step 2). Now, it's time to go out and create something! How will you share what you've learned?

A couple notes about this:

  • Make sure you read the rubric so you know how you will be assessed. It is linked below.
  • You won't be presenting these to the class, but we will all be looking at them. Make sure that you have enough text on your slide so that we can understand the important points you are making.
  • Please include a works cited slide/section.
  • If you use images in your work, make sure they are images that you can use AND the you cite the images properly.

This is due on block - either November 5th or 6th.

Notes for the final product

  • On slide or section headers of your final project, be clear what you're referencing. For example, label it Conditions That Angered People or Similarities to the French Revolution.
  • MAKE SURE YOUR FINAL PRODUCT IS PUBLICLY VIEWABLE TO ANYONE WITH THE LINK.
  • Submit your final product here. If you are working with a partner, you only need to submit this once. Complete this form first thing in class on Tuesday.
