WVRCM SeaWind Skippers at the 2009 SeaWind NCR
WVRCM was represented by three skippers at the 2009 SeaWind Class NCR at Hop Brook Lake, Middlebury, CT August 29/30th. Peter Jennings managed 12th place (21 skippers competed) despite some problems with his jib sheet hanging up which cost him a lot of places on Sunday. Al Stiewing sailed a steady regatta to take 7th place. Mike Eades managed to just hold on to 2nd place after a 1 point overnight lead. It was an extremely well run and enjoyable event with weather that started out wet and windless and improved steadily throughout the weekend, ending in sunshine and a nice breeze on Sunday.
