Themed Night 9th July 2018

We held a "London Underground" themed evening with members dressing up as various Tube lines, stations, employees and service users. Buskers, David and Gill, entertained us with a specially re-written version of "This Train is Bound for Glory"

with everyone joining in with the chorus.

During the break we all enjoyed a cream tea arranged by David and Janet with some having a "Devon" tea (cream first, then jam) others having a "Cornish" (jam first, then cream) and some total mavericks even buttering their scones!

Many of the singing calls during the evening were train related. Simon did "Steel Rails" and "Long Train Running" and Trudy posed quiz questions with hers:

"Blue Skies" - name 2 Tube lines coloured blue on the map - Piccadilly and Victoria

"Brown Eyes Blue" - name the brown Tube line - Bakerloo

"Top of the World" - the tenuous link was Carpenders Park station
