Thursday 29th December 2022 - Sunday 1st January 2023 - David, Janet H, Trudy, Simon, Bob W, Penny, Janet F, Sandy, Ann, Roy, Bob F and Brian went up to Swanwick in Derbyshire to bring in the New Year 2023. (See page "Bringing in the New Year 2023" for more details and photos)

Monday 9th January 2023 - After wishing each other a Happy New Year, on our first Club night of 2023 we were very pleased to dance three squares to Trudy and Simon. During the break we sang Happy Birthday to Bob, Barbara and Janet and enjoyed celebration cakes provided by Janet.

Monday 16th January 2023 - Our Treasurer, David, and his wife, Janet, our Secretary, were away in Devon this week celebrating Janet's "big" birthday. Our thanks go to Michael for filling in as Treasurer and David S for locking up at the end of the evening. Sue had kindly made a card for Janet, which everyone present signed, and she then hand delivered it through Janet's front door.

Monday 23rd January 2023 - On a very cold evening we danced three squares to Trudy and Simon with David performing a guest tip. In honour of her birthday today, Sue W had brought along assorted sweets for everyone to share - by the end of the evening there were not too many left! During the break we sang "Happy Birthday" to Sue and Joyce, who is also celebrating her birthday this week.

Monday 30th January 2023 - Waggoners was closed this evening while some of us enjoyed a social meal together. This event was due to have been held in December 2022 but had to be postponed due to heavy snow in our area on the day.
