NOTE:THIS IS IN PROGRESS: when complete, it will contain 32 questions, along with the answers in English, in Syllabary, and in Latinized Phonetics.
It will also contain the Bible passages that the answers are based upon, whether in links or within the document itself.
The 10 Commandments are part of what was inscribed (first by God, then by Moses) on the tablets of stone, which also included all of the law, not just the 10 commandments, but this study is presented as it was found, which for some reason, assumed just 10 laws were included rather than all of the 613 that Moses actually received.
I am tempted to move question #32 to the top since it asks (and answers!) the question of why we would bother with learning about these 10 commands today.
We are including a series of study questions below on this page in both English and in Cherokee that will enhance your study of the 10 commands.
You can read these commands in the 2nd book of Moses, aka Exodus, Chapter 20 or in Deuteronomy at Deuteronomy 5:6-21

But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
