Puppy Audio

Overview

As jOrgan (fluidysnth extension), GrandOrgue, and LinuxSampler all use the Jack Audio Connection Kit, we need to configure Jack using the QjackCtl frontend:

    1. Click on Menu -> Multimedia -> QjackCtl

    2. Click on the Setup button

    3. Select the "Misc" tab in the top menu bar

    4. Select the "Start Jack audio server on application startup" option

    5. Select the "Enable system tray icon" option

    1. Now select the "Settings" tab in the top menu bar

    1. Change the "Sample Rate" option to 44 100

    2. Change the "Audio" option to "Playback only"

    3. Change the "Timeout" option to "5000"

    4. Click on the SAVE button

    5. Click "OK" (this closes the SETUP window)

    6. Now click on the START button (the window should now indicate that Jack audio server has started)
