Aerkestralund, or Aerkes for short, is a country in the clouds and the only remaining homeland of the gnome and hafling descendants of Kestralund. The country is a vast floating network of barges, airships, platforms, and cloudforts that drifts with the clouds. Held aloft by the secret magic known only as The Kosmas, Aerkes is home to more than 10,000 gnomes and halflings who have become accustomed to living in the sky.
