Lunch Time Care

Lunchtime 2024

Lunch time care is not a program that is the responsibility of the Hampstead Recreation Commission. You must pay the counselor directly and work out all concerns with that Counselor before or after Rec. Personal transportation for your child before, during lunch time and after the program is not the responsibility of the Hampstead Recreation Commission.  Please contact me at: hampsteadrec@gmail.com for a list of counselors and phone number. 

What is Lunch time care? You hire a Summer Counselor to watch your children during the lunch time hour from 12:00noon to 1:00pm.

This year we will not be transporting children during the hours of 12:00pm to 1:00pm. They will stay at the location all day. It may be the Hampstead Central School, Memorial Gym, Town Beach or Depot Road Fields.   If the children are on a field trip you would not pay for lunchtime care because it's included in the field trip.  If we go to the Town Beach / Depot Road then the person you hired will drive them to the beach / town fields. 

Please make sure you work out a schedule with the counselor you hire.  Who can attend Lunch time care? Children entering grade 1 to grade 8. 

Lunch Time care is in high demand and the counselors may not be able to accommodate everyone's needs.

COST FOR LUNCH TIME CARE PER DAY

$8.00 - 1 child

$14.00 - 2 children

$20.00 - 3 children

COST FOR TRANSPORTATION PER WEEK

$10.00 per week - One way transportation - either to Summer Rec. in the morning or home after Summer Rec.

$20.00 per week - Both ways to Summer Rec. morning and afternoon

This is a negotiated between parent and the Summer Rec. Counselor
