Daily Information

1st Day - Tentatively is June 24th will need the following from you: 

1. Payment for the week (checks: made out to Hampstead Rec. or cash) unless you paid in full.

2. Please pack your child a snack and something to drink along with water.  There is not a water fountain available.  Children can full up water bottles.  We will have a snack time everyday. 

 3. Please apply sunscreen before your child or children comes to Summer Rec Program.  If you want us to reapply at lunch time please send the sunscreen in the child's bag.  We cannot wipe/rub sunscreen on your child but can spray them if you provide the spray. 

Start / Pick Up Time - Drop off starts at 9:00am and pick at 12:00noon -  Afternoon Drop off 1:00pm and pick up at 3:30pm. 

Daily - What will the children be doing?  We will divide staff and children into small groups.  When they first arrive they will walk over and wash their hands.  They will go to their weekly signed groups.  They will stay in those groups all week and travel together.  There will be two or three activities, snack, after snack, one or two more activities, wash their hands and either go home or stay for lunch.  

Locations we will be using: Hampstead Central School, Memorial Gym, Town Beach, Depot Road & Town Hall field - we have two pop up tents for shade, the basketball & tennis courts behind the Memorial Gym, parking area between the basketball and tennis courts we have painted obstacle courses, hangman, 4 -square and other fun games and the access road toward the middle school for nature walks. 

Medical - If your child has a medical concern please make sure you have filled out the Medical form.  If medicine is required ie: EpiPen or asthma inhaler you will need to drop it off with them daily.  The counselor in charge will carry it with them.  Contact me if you need the form or it's located on the Recreation website. 

COVID -19 - Person(s) with any COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed into the day camp.
