2014 NYPMTMC Elections

Do you like motivating others? Do you want to gain more experience as a leader? If you answered ‘yes’ to all of the above, then nominate yourself for a Club Officer Position!

Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

We have some exciting events coming up soon! The elections will be happening in June followed by a fun-filled summer social event in July. Before we get there we have some work to do. We need you to nominate yourself or others who will be in charge of running NYPMTMC for the upcoming year.

This is your opportunity to get involved in choosing the Club Officers for the upcoming year that will ensure our NYPMTMC operates smoothly. Please review the information on this page for additional details about the election.

Guidelines for nominations

1. Any active member of NYPMTMC can be nominated for Club Office, with the exception of the President (Only members who have been with the Club for longer than six months are eligible to run for President)

2. Seconding nominations – all nominations must be seconded by one or more members to be considered for election. It is recommended that the nominator and nominee work together to get a second nomination.

3. We will accept nominations for individual Club Officer positions, however we highly recommend that you nominate someone for every position.

4. Each Club (Downtown/Uptown) needs to have at least three of the seven roles filled in order to continue operations. (Minimum roles to be filled are: President, VPE, and Treasurer/Secretary)

5. We need your participation in the election by nominating NYPMTMC members for Club Office and casting your vote during the election. Show your support for NYPMTMC by getting involved.

4. Vice President Public Relations (VP PR)

5. Treasurer

   1. Sergeant At Arms (SAA)
