- In the Beginning -

*Note: Torin - LFSCE, Jack Hood - Genesis*

A young child runs up to a male who is in the late years of his life. "Grandpa, grandpa! What are you looking at?" The elderly man looked up briefly from the scrapbook in his hand at the child as a smile came across his face. He set down his scrapbook and continued to smile at the child.

"Oh some stuff from my younger years." The man gives the child a hug. "What are you up to?"

Proudly shows two wrestling figures one is of Bloodline the other of Thantos. "I'm playing with my figures! You want to play Grandpa?!"

The elderly man sat the child on his lap chuckling. "Oh really now? And just who might these characters be?" Pointing at the figure of a younger male the child says, "This one's name is Bloodline."

Before the child could utter much of anything, the elderly man looked at the other figure, "This one is Thantos." The elderly man picked up the figure and started to inspect it.

"You know who Thantos is grandpa?" The boy asked surprised that his grandpa knew anything about one of his toys. "I didn't know you watch wrestling grandpa."

"Oh yes I do," he continued, "While I might not watch it much these days, I'd guess that I've watched more wrestling than you will in your lifetime!" Picking up the Bloodline figure he looked at the child. "Do you know who his father is?"

The boy nodded, "His father is Star Warrior. The greatest wrestler ever!" The boy beamed, proud that he was able to answer the old man's question. The boy then took the toy back and started to have it and the Thantos figure fight each other.

"Yes that is correct," said the grandfather. He then smiled at the boy and asked, "Do you know who his father was?" The boy just shook his head. "Well his father was the great, Omega. He was around during the beginning of the GWF in fact he helped start it with a man named Morpheus."

The boy was enthralled by the new information. "I have not heard that before. Was Omega as good as his son and grandson?" The grandfather smiled back, "Why yes he was." The boy asked, "Was he your favorite wrestler?" The old man shook his head no. "Could you tell me some about the old GWF grandpa?"

The old man considered this for a moment. He then looked back down at the boy and said, "I believe that I very well could. Instead of starting right at the beginning of the GWF, I'll start at an earlier time."

The grandfather continued. "You see there used to be a lot of violence in the galaxy. Enough to where violent sports were being outlawed. There was one fed that was so harsh and violent that it was ran by and had participants that were sometimes really shady. It was called the POW or Pleidas Outlaw Wrestling."

"Like the POW today?" inquired the boy. "Yes, in fact it was being ran by a man named Jack Hood who is a part of the POW now. He was a fierce and dirty fighter back in the day and many feared to step in the ring with him." The boy kept looking at his grandfather reach back into his memory. "When the feds started to be cracked down upon they targeted the POW first as it was the nastiest of them. When that happened the POW began to move, travel, and invade other federations."

"You mean they went and fought in other peoples wrestling leagues?" asked the boy in a surprised tone. The old man answered, "Yes they did. One of the most infamous places they invaded was Sagitta. You see Jack was in the mood that if someone was going to mess with him and his fed then he was definitely going to make others unpleasant. You asked me if Omega was my favorite, well my real favorite was a man named Torin Caelum. He was from Sagitta. In my opinion, he was the best wrestler in the galaxy."

He continued, "See Torin was a good clean fighter. He was an example of greatness in the wrestling world. So of course Jack Hood took offense to that. Jack just showed up to an event one day in Sagitta and called Torin out."

The boy asked, "Did Torin take the challenge?" The old man said, "Yes he did. You see Torin was for legitimizing wrestling as a sport and healthy route of violence. He felt that Hood took his idea of what a wrestling league was too far. He and Hood got in a huge feud. Let me tell you some about their very first encounter."

The boy remained completely still entralled with the story...
