St. John Ambulance Reports Few Casualties at First Aid Station .. Most casualties that marred the opening of the Marian Congress Wednesday were attributable to a single source, over-indulgcnc in hot dogs, according to St. John Ambulance Association volunteers in charge of first aid at Lansdowne Park last night. Though attendance soared to new heights during the day, not a single serious case of sickness or injury was reported. One priest. Rev. M. McKaveney, of Pittsburgh, wss taken to his quarters at the Chateau Laurier in the Fire Department emergency car when he became temporarily ill from an ailment from which he has been suffering for some time. Another was taken to the hotel with a sprained back. Where the general public was concerned. "tummy aches" topped the list. In 'the first aid post register.' Last night a single small boy, who came to Ottawa with a group of students from St Jean Iberville, was fitfully trying to sleep off the effects of an overdose of wieners, buns and excitement at the first aid quarters. ' "Nothing serious", commented Mrs. Mary A. Cathcart, who is in charge of the volunteers. She read over the day's casualty list It included several cases of headaches, one toothache, numerous indigestion' cases, a couple of cut fingers and one sprained thumb. A case of blistered heels, several of fatigue, one of "dirt In one eye", and one of "slight cuts, suffered in a fall" completed the list. The day has been extremely quiet . Fortunately, there have been no serious cases of illness :
