Note that some 4/4 bars have only 3½ counts. I first notated the first 3 eighth-notes as a quarter-note triplet, but it doesn't sound right that way. They really are 4-count bars, but I can't find a precise way to notate the way they're split between the notes. Please listen and tell me how it can better be notated...
