Dan Morovitz

Dan Morovitz is an old friend from TU-Munich whom is now living is Bayern with his German-Polish wife. His most recent degree is in Forestry, and he likes to play with chainsaws and fight forest fires. One of his areas of expertise is using controlled burns to reduce fuel load and promote forest health and diversity. He has an extensive back-ground in Biology, Landuse Management, and Nature Conservation. Likewise his skills in Dendrochronology and GIS technologies provide support for our Geo-Archaeological work. Currently he is based out of the LWF (Bayerisch Forest Research Institute) in Freising working on mapping projects.His work with our group mainly concerns translation of research articles originally written in German. The goal of this work is to offer German scientist an opportunity to publish their original work in English Language Scientific Journals.
