What is Neighborhood Watch?

  • It is a Fairfax County sponsored program that implements the philosophy that "The best defense against crime in a community is a good neighbor; noticing and reporting suspicious activity immediately helps keep criminal activity low".

  • If you see something, say something whenever suspicious activity is observed, either day or night.

What Helps Makes Indian Run Townhomes a Safe Neighborhood?

    • Our single entrance/exist discourages drive through traffic;

    • Our circular driveway provides a direct connection between the 38 townhomes;

    • Our residents walk and jog around our driveway from the early morning and throughout the day and evenings everyday;

    • Our half dozen resident dogs are walked by their owners throughout the neighborhood all hours of the day and night;

    • Our frequent social events help to foster community and neighbor recognition among our residents.

Please see additional Neighborhood Watch subpages for tips, resources and information regarding the annual National Night Out.
