When I started working with a client having offices all over Europe and especially in France I was was hesitant to re-acquaint myself with the language, not having spoken it very much since O-levels, thirty plus years ago.
In a few lessons, Marie has worked out my current level and designed a plan for me to get up to where I need to be. I feel that I am making good progress. Marie has had a varied career including accountancy and computing, so she is au-fait with modern business jargon.
Lessons are very informal and relaxed, conducted in Maries home which is easily reached on foot/taxi from central Harrogate. Marie makes sure that lessons are fun - we do a mix of tuition-book-based study, conversation, literature, poetry and even music which means that even after a long working day I feel enthusiastic about going, and the results I'm getting show that it works. Homework helps reinforce the material we cover in lessons.
I have no hesitation in recommending Marie for business or conversational French lessons.
