How silently the gifts of love are given
To you and me, to both those far and near;
We stand in awe of all the loving energy
That calls each one of us to be sincere;
We cannot number all the blessings we enjoy
When life is calm and when the storms role in;
For it is love, sustaining and renewing us
That gives a glow to life, that gives us strength within.
And when we share what we, in love, are given
We find our life is so enhanced and full;
God’s spirit shines with gentle sensitivity;
The human spirit blossoms with good-will;
We cannot number all the blessings we enjoy;
They are for us to share with tender grace;
For it is love, enriching and uplifting us
That brings a secret smile to every human face.
