Reggie Higgins

Reggie Higgins

Reggie Higgins arrives in the season 5 episode “Choices” as the school undertakes auditions for new students.

Initially Reggie wants to be a comedienne and starts to turn even serious subjects into comedy which attracts Danny and inspires him to want to go with her to the Sadie Hawkins Dance.

Usually fun and upbeat, when she’s turned on to a guy, she totally loses it and in “Losing It” she needs fellow new student Kate Riley to accompany her on a date because she struggles to even talk to a guy! It all backfires though when the guy doesn’t think she’s interested

Over the summer break Reggie discovers performance art and that she can actually become the play!

Reggie is a bit of a rebel and likes to push boundaries. This can frequently lead her into trouble and in “A Different Drummer” she gets suspended from the school after a demonstration gets her into trouble with the police.

Reggie champions the underdog and fights the establishment to try and change things. In “Reggie and Rose” she persuades one of the school workers to return to school to study to be a performer. In “Alice Doesn’t Work Here Anymore” she fights for a computer software programme to help the kids who don’t like dissecting real frogs.

Reggie develops a romantic interest in Ian Ware and the two flirt with a relationship but it never really turns into anything.

Reggie becomes part of the all girl band “The Cuties” with Nicole, Dusty and Jillian although she

becomes frustrated with the style of music and song choices. Reggie much prefers alternative music.

In “The Big Contract”, Reggie battles with Maxie to become the editor on the school Newspaper “The Masquer” but some of Reggie’s ideas are deemed to be a little off the wall. Their constant battles lead to neither of them getting the position and it goes to Jillian instead.
