Myke Minbiole Award
DC's annual Myke Minbiole Elegant Engineering Award is a tribute to Myke’s approach of technically elegant engineering. The award winner has been selected by Northrup Grumman engineers.
Myke was an engineer at Northrop Grumman when he was killed in a hit-and-run collision in April 2007. Myke's family and friends are ongoing benefactors of DC.

Myke Minbiole graduated from McCormick in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. As an undergraduate student, he co-authored two books on computer-aided design with Rich Lueptow, professor of mechanical engineering. In 2001, Myke’s entry, Custom 455, won Design Competition.
