Bunting

"Bunting" was a term originally given to a type of material that flags were usually made from, today it is more commonly used to describe strips of fabric, usually colored, that are used to decorate an area - strings of little flags which are usually "pointy" but not necessarily. Bunting can be laid flat, or can be 'swagged'.On my recent holiday to Norfolk (UK) whilst flicking through my usual holiday magazines I noticed that bunting featured quite heavily in many of the photographs depicting an aspirational lifestyle. I want some of that (thought I) so decided to have a go.

Soon I was making colourful bunting that can be used for all occasions. I have also made some bespoke bunting on request for a little girl and boy twin bedrooms, a nurse graduation and to celebrate the birth of a baby boy. (see Gallery for more pictures).
