Fall 2010 Academic Calendar

Note that Tuesday, September 14 follows a Friday schedule. Also, no classes are scheduled for sections that end after 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 8, and no classes are scheduled for sections that end at or before 4:00 pm on Wednesday, Nov 3.

Students wishing to withdraw from any course in which they are registered may do so at any timeprior to November 17. Check for updates of the College Calendar at http://www.bcc.cuny.edu/collegeRelations/include-Calendar.cfm. If you are pre-nursing or pre-radiology, you should keep this date in mind so that you don’t lose one of your two “attempts.”

Lecture Final Exams are scheduled from December 14^th until December 21^st. Check for updates of the Final Examination Schedule at http://www.bcc.cuny.edu/registrar/?page=Final_Exam_Schedule. As the actual exam times are not scheduled until approximately mid-way through the semester, please do not make travel plans that conflict with any part of the final exam week.

Lab midterms and finals occur during the regularly scheduled lab period (7^th and 14^th week, respectively), regardless of whether they occur during the college’s scheduled midterm week. There is no “midterm exam” for lecture. Your midterm grade is simply the weighted average of your grades thus far in the semester. Final exams during final exam week are for lecture only.
