For the past few months, the Montgomery County Police have conducted numerous search warrants on a criminal organization that has been operating in the DMV area for the past 10 years. The organization places advertisements in Backpage and Eros in the Escort section. Upon arriving for the appointment, the female collects personal information and money from the client. Upon realizing it's a bait and switch operation, the females then refuse to return the money. In some instances were no money was obtained, the criminal organization posts the personal information of the client on different websites.
