I have participated in AfroEnergyDance several times.
After dancing I often feel revitalized, it is very good exercise for balancing people who use their mind in their work.
In the one day event we spent the day dancing and stretching.
To me it was body awareness, and meditation, combined together.
Chandra is very alive and versatile in her natural way of leading the dance events, combined with her choice of African music, the whole program becomes a life giving dynamic meditation.
Besides, Chandra is a very lovely and beautiful being.

Man/Woman event Taipei
The event tonight was very good, supporting me in, again, integrating I am searching for other words...the process I have been going through - feeling both male/female sides and step by step- combining them..getting familiar with them..little by little...step by step.
The last stage did have a more grounding effect about what was discovered in the first/second stages and all other I have done before (in whatever groups/events)
Thank you. And thank you for what you have brought here in Taiwan.

One day my brother Chandana invited me to participate in Chandra's
AfroEnergyDance workshop, and I loved it very much. Now I hardly ever miss the opportunity to go.
Her teaching is divided into three parts:
(1) The warm-up. We all follow the movements of
our leader Chandra. In this stage, I felt I was
sort of unable to let-go, but by and by I could
feel that I became more open. I want to go on
participating in the group to practice letting-go of
my body movement.
(2) Following the music and our energy starts moving,
and because we have already had the
warm-up in the first stage, the second stage becomes
easier and I often felt that time went by very fast.
It is very much like what my master Osho says; "the
dance is meditation".
(3) The third stage including live African drumming led
by Sajeev, is really a very high point and we all have fun.
At first I felt dancing in front of so many people is a little bit embarrassing,
but gradually I have learned to allow the no-mind space and it has become
more natural.
When others are dancing in the middle of the circle, I like to cheer by the side,
clapping, screaming, moving, enjoying the energy flow.
Chandra is very lovely and natural, and the dancing room is so nice....
For my health and happiness, I often participate in this group.
