Thursday, Aug. 20: travel day

Travel from Grumo -> Disentis -> Reichenau -> Thusis -> St Moritz -> LaPunt

• About a 5 hour drive across the country.
• Ended up in St Moritz (big touristy area of the wealthy, and too much traffic and people. Spent 2 minutes there and picked up lodging pamphlet at the train station. About 10 miles up the road is LaPunt. First call landed a gold mine. Chesa Schalom run by Margrit & Werner Kagi-Schrag. Exceptionally clean B&B in a very old and very tiny town. Only 40SF/night, inc. breakfast.
• Will stay here for 4 or 5 days and hike the area. Interviewed many of the locals, read brochures, and have our favorites picked.
