7th Grade Social Studies

Our founding fathers voted for independence from Great Britain on July 2nd, 1776 and the Declaration of Independence was written two days later. Since then, we've fought many wars, seen the dawn of many inventions, redefined what it means to be American, and shown the world what it means to be a democratic republic. Below are pictures of some of the famous events we'll be studying this year in American history.

Welcome to U.S. History! Most of you know me as a math teacher, but I also studied history in college and am licensed to teach both subjects. History is truly my passion and I am incredibly excited to get to share that passion with you this year!
