We are so excited to welcome you to the Hillmen Family! Enrollment to Placer High School is an online process; there are no paper packets to fill out. If you require an in-person appointment, please email kmccaughna@puhsd.k12.ca.us.

Please note: It is the parent's responsibility to withdraw the student from the previous school.
Placer will request your records and official transcript after enrollment is complete.

Mrs. McCaughna will have a table in the Gym to provide enrollment support and answer questions you may have about the enrollment process.

Classes will ultimately be scheduled by the student’s counselor based on credit needs and available space. See below for our course selection by grade level. Please print, circle choices, and email back to kmccaughna@puhsd.k12.ca.us

You will need to complete an Intra-District Transfer Request. You MUST turn in your application between January 8th - January 31st.  NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. Visit the PUHSD Website and scroll down to Enrolling “Open Enrollment within PUHSD” for the Transfer Application.

I Want to Attend Placer High but…

…We Don’t Live in the Placer Union High School District

You will need to apply for an Inter-District Transfer. To begin the interdistrict request process, you must first complete an Inter-District Transfer Request Form form your current district of residence.

To ensure proper placement of your high school student, and to remain in compliance with education codes and national safety standards, it is necessary that you follow the guidelines above in order to enroll your student at Placer High School. Additionally, please note that the State of California requires that all students be enrolled under his/her/their legal name, regardless of how your student was enrolled at his/her/their previous school(s).
