Senior Portraits
Prestige Portraits is our official senior portrait photographer for the Placer High School Yearbook. Be on the lookout for communication from Prestige Portraits with detailed information regarding scheduling your senior portraits in the mail. Make sure we have your current parent's email and home address to ensure you receive the communication.
2024 Schedule (Class of 2025)
ROUND 1
August 8th, 9th and 12th (7:30 to 5:30 pm)
Most should be scheduled during round 1.
ROUND 2
September 23, 24 and 25th (7:30 to 5:30 pm)
Yearbook outfit: Student Choice - no hats, logos, images, t-shirts. Students will not be turned away, but some students may be rejected by the yearbook advisor if outfits are deemed inappropriate for a high school yearbook.
Yearbook Background: Outside Environmental- students can choose any outside environmental location. (These photos will be outside on Placer's campus)
Senior portrait post cards reminders will be shipped to senior's home address.
1st post card will ship out 62-56 days prior to picture day
2nd post card - 41-35 days prior to picture day
Last post card - 21-27 days prior to picture day
Students will get to select their own time and date for their photo on a first come-first served basis. In past years, students were scheduled alphabetically.
Students will receive an email with their 8-digit appointment code 4-5 weeks prior to picture day. The step-by-step directions are listed below for your reference. Students without an appointment will be taken after all students who have appointments are photographed if time allows.

Instructions on how to schedule senior appointments when the online portal opens: (NOTE- YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED WHEN YOU CAN ACCESS IT.)
Go to: https://prestigeportraits.com
Enter your 8-digit appointment code then select "Go".
If you do not have a code, enter the city and state of the school, then select your school. After you select your school, enter your first and last name then click "Search".
You will then see the 8-digit appointment code. Enter the 8-digit code in the appropriate box then click “Go”.
From there, the students can select the date and time of their appointment. Seniors can also contact Prestige directly at byarea@lifetouch.com or call 1-877-825-7922 for any questions.

Can I have my senior portrait taken by any photographer?
All senior portraits for the yearbook will be taken by Prestige. No exceptions.
Senior portrait makeup dates
If you missed your scheduled photoshoot over the summer, there will be makeups on Placer's campus on September 18th, 19th and 20th from 11:30 to 7:00. Senior that missed will be notified of their scheduled date and time. You can also contact Prestige Photography directly at 1-877-825-7922 to schedule an appointment in their studio.
