Senior Fall Meeting with Ms. Madenberg, October 2022 


This zoom event was hosted for seniors and their families to meet Ms. Madenberg at the beginning of the school year and understand the support that the College Office could provide through the remainder of the college process. 

Senior Financial Aid Night, October 2022 


This financial aid event was hosted for seniors with guest speakers from Roger Williams University. The event was focused on the primary ways of applying for financial aid. 

Junior College Night Kick-Off, January 2023


Class of 2024's official kick-off to the college process at Lab! This event includes three sections: a chat with Ms. Madenberg to better understand the support within the College Office, a panel with three admissions counselors, and short workshop sections to learn about individual aspects of the college process. 

Senior Financial Aid Night, March 2023


This financial aid event was hosted for seniors with a guest speaker from Fordham University. The session focused on how to compare various financial aid packages at this point in the process and important considerations when taking out loans. 

Junior Financial Aid Night, April 2023

This is the kick-off financial aid evening for the Class of 2024, where we had guest speakers from Roger Williams University present about the different ways to get financial aid and the changes that will go into effect in the upcoming school year. The session is a thorough overview of the vocabulary you will hear throughout the financial aid process. Please note: ALL students are eligible for financial aid, even if it's not "need-based," so this is an applicable session for students regardless of family financial circumstances. 

Neurodiversity and the College Process, May 2023

Ferne Bork from Landmark College in Vermont speaks to Lab students and families about the landscape of neurodiversity in the college process, including how IEP and 504 plan supports can translate to support in college. This event is mostly targeted to juniors and families but includes helpful information for students of all grade levels. 

Orientation for Class of 2025, June 2023

This orientation is intended for rising juniors and their families to have a better understanding of what supports the College Office can provide during junior and senior year. This presentation also gives important and timely guidance about the changes in the standardized testing landscape. 


Orientation for Class of 2026, June 2023

This orientation is intended for rising sophomores and their families to have a better understanding of what supports the College Office can provide later in their high school career. The orientation also gives an emphasis on all the ways to make the most of high school at Lab before diving into the college process.
