Students pursuing DI and DII athletics must meet academic eligibility standards with the NCAA, which includes: SAT/ACT test scores, high school coursework, grades, and institution-specific admissions requirements. Students applying to DIII schools are not required to meet eligibility requirements through the NCAA, and this division also does not provide athletic scholarships.

Students who hope to be recruited as a part of their college process are strongly encouraged to speak to their coaches early on to get the best sense which division would be a realistic fit. Many students create a demo reel to capture them playing so they have this ready when it comes time to get in touch with coaches.
