MCPS Apprenticeship MD Program website and Youth Apprenticeship Job Board
Students receive credit for hours worked during the summer through the CTE Summer School program. Juniors and seniors may apply for apprenticeship positions with employers; AMP is a partnership between MSDE, MD Department of Labor and MCPS.

IEC Electrical School-to-Apprenticeship Program
A partnership with MCPS and IEC Chesapeake includes 450 PAID on-the-job training hours, 165 hours of classroom instruction, and certifications. During senior year, students are employed with an electrical contractor and attend high school in the afternoon. Begins July 2022!
The IEC Chesapeake Apprenticeship Training Facility is located at 8751 Freestate Dr, Laurel, MD 20723.
