Delegate scholarships: First use Find My Representatives to determine your legislative district. You must attend a college in MARYLAND and have completed the FAFSA to qualify. Mrs. Kessler will submit your transcript (just let her know).

Delegate Gabriel Acevero Scholarship - Awards given on a rolling basis, apply now for highest consideration. 

Upcoming Scholarship Deadlines:

DUE MAY 20: Kappa Gamma Chapter Scholarship - Two $1,000 scholarships to African American females, GPA > 2.5, essay about career goals. One for social sciences majors and one for students pursuing law, criminal justice, legal studies or education.

DUE MAY 24: National Naval Officers Association (DCNNOA) - Awards 30 scholarships of at least $1,000 to minority youth based on academic achievement, community involvement, and financial need.  Scholarship recipients select their major and attend the college or university of their choice without any obligation to join or affiliate with the military.

DUE MAY 24: Miss Utility of Maryland - Enrolling in a two-year or four-year college, university or technical school in fall 2024. Requires essay and transcript, eight $1,000 awards.

DUE JUNE 18: Izaak Walton League of America Rockville Chapter - Six $2000 scholarships; the Chapter’s Thomas W. Fisher Conservation Scholarships are awarded to young people studying conservation or environmentally related disciplines.

DUE JULY 1: Tools for Success Scholarship - Several awards (about $500) for students with > 2.5 GPA living in a single parent household meeting income guidelines.

DUE AUG 15: Daisy DACA Foundation Dreamers Scholarship - To apply, tell us about yourself, how this funding would help you, and how your background has affected your educational journey so far; non U.S. citizens with GPA > 3.0.
