Swedish pine

Swedish pine is nationally protected nature monument and its circumference is 3,2 metres. As it is known from an old tale - the pine was planted by Swedish king the other way around - the roots were up in the air. Some say you can see the same king, floating in a boat deep in his thoughts, in the lake next to the pine, when the evening fog is out.

Further away from the pine to north, holy place Māra church is located, which was opened in 1995.
