Nature educational center "Vecupītes"

In Nature Protection Boards educational centre "Vecupītes" visitors can see the exhibition about forest and its biological diversity, participate in nature research lessons, play environment-related games and organize seminars and lectures.

There is literature, different materials related with nature, worksheets and nature educational programs available.

Close to "Vecupītes" there is a 2,8 kilometres long nature trail where you can see different ecosystems. The stands placed along the trail help you to learn more about the natural values in this area. We advise you to visit the trail together with environmental guide.

The center is free of charge and it is open on weekdays only with a pre-registration.
